How does a ducted vacuum system work
A ducted vacuum is a very simple system with 4 components
- The main power unit, typically located in the garage sucks in air and collects the dust.
- PVC piping runs from the power unit to various points (wall inlets) in the home.
- Wall inlets allow the hose to be connected.
- The cleaning hose and attachments are plugged into the wall inlet and the power unit automatically engages enabling you to vacuum.
Dust is Gone
Unlike portable vacuum cleaners that can re-circulate dust a ducted vacuum system removes dust to a canister usually located in the garage, which makes for a healthier home.
Ducted vacuums are more up to 5 times more powerful than conventional vacuum cleaners meaning a better and faster clean.
